GITHANJALI PUBLIC SCHOOL under the AVM Foundation Trust is the brainchild of our founder Chairman Shri. M. Alagiriswamy who is an epitome of intellect and excellence. Born in a humble background from Arasampalayam Pollachi, He emerged as a competent and most respected Chartered Accountant and accomplished towering success in the field of finance and management. With the blessings and motivation of his father Sri. A.V. Marappa Gounder Our Chairman Shri M. Alagiriswamy founded AVM trust in the year 2001 with an intent to provide education as service to the society. To realize the dream our founder laid the first milestone by establishing Geethanjali Matriculation Higher Secondary School in the year 2002 which continues to be the most sought-after school. Owing to increased perception of CBSE schools having greater flexibility and preparing students to face the challenges of competitive exams hence to keep up the changing trends Githanjali Public School was established in the year 2012 and we continue to provide holistic education to all the students studying in our institutions. The name Githanjali is inspired by the works of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, a versatile genius and the first noble laureate of India.
